Dr. Dino Celeda , PhD – Science Officer

Dr. Dino Celeda holds a PhD in Biology from the Ruprecht Karls Universitaet, Heidelberg, Germany. He specialized in Human Genetics and did his training and held positions at many renowned Institutions including; Friedrich Schiller Universitaet, Jena, Germany, Institut National de La Recherche Agronimique, Jouy en Josas, France, Krankenhaus Harlaching, Munich, Germany. Dr. Celeda also held senior R&D positions at the Umweltmedizinisches Labor Munich commercial laboratory, and was co-founder and scientific advisor of numerous commercial laboratories in Europe, including Meagen Tech AG, JenaBiotech GmbH, Pecus Diagnostics AG, GenSod Ag. Dr. Celeda also held positions in the U.S. as Director of Science and Director of Genetic Testing.

 

David Dittmar, PhD – Laboratory Director

David received a BS degree in Medical Technology from the University of Wisconsin and a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Miami.  He did a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital Complex and then worked in R&D at Coulter Immunology.  In 1983 he began a career in commercial clinical laboratory testing at Sekot Laboratories in Miami, FL, and then continued at Doctors Laboratory, Inc and Solstas Lab Partners.  He has been a clinical laboratory director for over 29 years and holds director’s licenses from the States of Florida and Georgia. He is board certified in medical and public health virology by the American Board of Medical Microbiology, and throughout his career he has been active in the development of clinical tests in microbiology and immunology. David resides with his family in Miami, FL

 

Alla Kazy – Research & Development Manager

Alla received a BS degree in Biotechnology and an MS degree in Biology from Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, FL. While working for her MS degree at FAU, Alla worked for ESRD Lab in Ft. Lauderdale, FL as an environmental technician for three years. After graduation, Alla worked at the Biochemistry department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as an associate research specialist where she established and managed a research laboratory. Alla has two publications: “Oligomerization State of Photosynthetic Core Complexes is Correlated with the Dimerization Affinity of a Transmembrane Helix” (J Am Chem Soc. 2011) and “Targeted gene knock-out via promoter tagging in tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum) and tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum)” [MS dissertation], 2007. Alla joined Cell Science Systems in 2012 as an R&D research associate and has established a molecular laboratory that has developed a variety of our assays and clinical tests. Alla is licensed in the state of Florida as a Medical Technologist in Molecular Pathology.

 

Gregory Rawling – R&D Laboratory Coordinator, Supervisor ELISA Laboratory

Gregory received multiple degrees including his BS from the University of Michigan, an MA from Central Michigan University and a Certification from the Hurley Medical Center School of Medical Technology. He is a Certified Allied Health Instructor (AMT), CPR Instructor and Ski Instructor. Gregory became a senior medical technologist for 13 years in Special, Automated and micro-chemistry including Blood Banking. With such a strong background, he was a professor for almost twenty years at both Barry University and Keiser University in subject matters pertaining to Chemistry, Immunology, Parasitology and Laboratory Medicine. Greg has been with Cell Science Systems since 2011 and continues to be a Supervisor in the ELISA laboratory involving hormone and other assays. His contributions have helped propel the company forward. When not working, Greg enjoys a variety of hobbies. His current and past activities include: Scuba diving master (PADI), sky diving, flying as a private pilot (single-engine land), hiking, rock climbing, snow skiing, canoeing, wildlife photographing and owner of Thoroughbred Race Horses.
