Medical Disclaimer for Cell Science Systems, Corp.

The tests offered by Cell Science Systems are not intended to diagnose or treat medical conditions.  There is no assurance provided that any particular results will be achieved, as your condition may not be related (or not only related) to the information obtained from the tests conducted.    The assistance of a health care provider is advised.

The Alcat Test is a scientific clinical test and as such is only intended to provide information regarding possible sensitivities to foods and/or other substances.

The MethylDetox Profile tests genetic markers involved in methylation and homocysteine metabolism.  It is not intended to diagnose or treat medical conditions but to provide insight for use within a comprehensive assessment conducted by ordering practitioner.   Patients should understand that as research advances, in order to assess the meaning of patients’ DNA in the context of such research advances, patient may need to obtain further services from physician, genetic counselor or other health care provider.

The DNA collected for this test is not sold or donated to any other organization or used for research.  Patient DNA is only stored when a reanalysis is needed.   DNA samples are deidentified during the isolation process and upon completion of testing, disposed of in biohazardous waste.  Records associated with the DNA collected for this test are stored for a minimum of two years according to CLIA regulation.  Patients are permitted to submit DNA samples confidentially without a name associated with them (using an identification number).

CICA (Celiac, IBS, Crohn’s Array) tests genetic markers and serology markers associated with celiac and Crohn’s disease.

The Cellular Nutrition Assay assesses insufficiencies in micronutrients within immune cells, antioxidant function of immune cells, and specific antioxidants that may improve antioxidant capacity.   It is not intended to diagnose or treat medical conditions but to provide insight for use within a comprehensive assessment conducted by ordering practitioner.

Homocysteine testing is a biomarker utilized to assess progress after implementation of personalized nutrition to balance methylation.  It is not intended to diagnose or treat medical conditions but to provide insight for use within a comprehensive assessment conducted by ordering practitioner.

Telomere Value determines telomere length using DNA from white blood cells.
